Britax Roundabout Convertible Car Seat
December 2nd, 2009Even though I’ve owned the Britax Roundabout Convertible Car Seat for around two and a half months, I can already tell that definitely this is the best car seat I’ve ever owned. It’s very easy to use, super durable, it looks great and also has a fantastic safety record. It does cost a little bit more than your average car seat, but I feel like I’ve completely gotten my money’s worth.
My son went from almost nearly constant screaming in his old car seat to nothing but pure silence as we put them into the roundabout. Especially well padded, and has plenty of room. It also gives him plenty of room to grow into it. There’s a special reclining feature, and a really nice deep head rest that allows him to take a nap comfortably.
Even though the seat is a bit bigger than the rest of the seats out there, the base of it is really not that hard to work with. I’ve got two other children who also have to sit in the back of our car with a baby. There’s not a lot of extra room, but all of them are very comfortable.
This thing is so easy-to-use, I don’t even know where to begin talking about it. We installed it using the latch system and it couldn’t have been easier. The velcro tabs are a really convenient feature. Initially I thought that the Velcro tabs were a bit gimmicky, but I really changed my mind and realized that it actually does make it easier to get the baby in and out of the seat.
The denim fabric is really cool too. It looks really great, and it’s so dark that anything that might stain it would probably end up being pretty hard to notice. It’s not scratchy at all either, it’s actually really nice and soft.
I couldn’t tell you about how it performed in an accident because we haven’t been in one with this car seat. But I can tell you that it appears to be quite sturdy and alot more solid than the other seats that we previously owned. I can give my full recommendation for the Britax Roundabout Convertible Car Seat.
